Just a short drive from ONE, the Chicago Botanic Garden offers gorgeous landscapes year-round. Though it might come as a surprise, even after snowfall, there are still spectacular reasons to traipse through the garden. Setting the perfect wintery mood to prepare us for the holidays, the Chicago Botanic Garden is presenting Lightscape, an exclusive and enchanting U.S. holiday experience.
Lightscape started in the U.K., where it astounded an audience of over one million visitors. Now, the exclusive U.S. experience is coming to the Chicago Botanic Garden until January 5, 2020. The show takes place on an enchanting, after-dark illuminated trail across the spectacular botanic gardens. The experience includes six, separate and stunning attractions: a playful choir of singing trees, immersive ribbons of light, a garden of fragrance and fire, a sparkling tunnel of lights, a stunning festival finale and, of course, the opportunity to toast marshmallows over a fire.
To celebrate the season, create new memories and take gorgeous photos, this attraction is one that can’t be missed. The attraction is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4:30 PM – 10 PM. Tickets are required for entry, with price dependent on the day of your visit. The event also offers parking, and the opportunity to pay for parking in advance. The Chicago Botanic Garden is located at 1000 Lake Cook Road, Glencoe, IL 60022.
